Our award-winning client is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. The Maintenance Technician ensures machinery uptime by conducting repairs and preventative maintenance, aligning with company objectives and KPIs. Responsibilities include troubleshooting various equipment, documenting findings, performing PMs, and collaborating with managers and vendors. Qualifications include technical education, experience with Krones equipment, and expertise in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Responsibilities:
Respond quickly to equipment issues and troubleshoot problems across various machines (VFDs, electrical controls, etc.)
Collaborate with maintenance and production managers to keep everyone informed about technical issues and improvements.
Document repairs and findings in our Maintenance Management System (MMS) for better tracking.
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs during scheduled shutdowns (may require weekend or shift flexibility).
Assist with the installation and startup of new equipment.
Utilize your welding and machine shop skills for equipment repairs.
Work effectively with vendors on equipment rebuilds, service visits, and training to minimize downtime.
Diagnose electrical problems using a digital voltmeter, mega ohm meter, and amp probes.
Required Qualifications:
Technical school diploma or Associate's degree (preferred)
Experience with Krones equipment a plus
5+ years of relevant maintenance experience
Must have experience with:
Reading multimeters, electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic prints
Micrometers and calipers
AC/DC control circuits (120 VAC/24 VDC)
Power distribution systems (480/277 VAC)
