Job Description:
To keep his all instruments and tools in good working condition
To rectify all electrical and mechanical faults of the vehicles
To assist in other carpool works
To service all the company vehicles
To meet emergencies and repairs of the vehicles during operations going on
To keep emergency generator ready in case of power failure
To purchase emergent parts/spares from the outside
To repair vehicles outside the company in case of accidents/sudden stoppages
To maintain vehicles and forklifts in accordance with the maintenance schedule
To check and repair electrical faults to ensure smooth running of the plant, machinery and equipment in his area of work.
To prepare repair report on the works done during the week
To complete works given to him on job cards (repairs alterations, new installations, erections etc)
To preserve safety precautionary measures/ during work
To look after fire alarm system and as well as sprinkler system
Communications:
Reporting to Maintenance Supervisor
Communicate with the Group leader
Communicate with Forman
