Introduction:

Our client in the paper and plastics packaging and recycling business is looking for the Maintenance Technician to join their Team in Wadeville. As the Technician you will be responsible for Machine maintenance as per formal preventative maintenance program.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Relevant trade test papers necessary
• Qualified Artisan Millwright (preferable) or electrical
• Must be assertive
• Must have own vehicle
• Previous work experience in the similar position and environment will be advantageous;
• Must be prepared to work shifts, standby and overtime

Job Responsibilities:

• Machine maintenance as per formal preventative maintenance program
• Advance processing and fault finding
• Maintain all electrical/electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic machinery
• Maintain injection, blow and compression moulding machines, including compressors, chillers, cooling towers
• Ensure optimal machine efficiency and machine availability
• Perform fault finding and attend to machine breakdowns
• General maintenance of plant facilities and services
• Accurate and timeous completion of job cards and general administration
• Comply with GMP and food safety principals
• Ensure compliance with all HACCP and ISO rules and regulations
