Mobile Maintenance Technician -

What this job involves -

The Maintenance Technician supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical, plumbing and kitchen equipment and systems in assigned facilities. Assists Mobile Engineers (HVAC/R) and Control Systems Technicians in maintenance and repair efforts, as well as independently performing defined tasks.

What is your day to day? 

• Assistthe operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment

• Generalinterior maintenance– HVAC/R coil cleaning, evaporator coil cleaning, kitchen equipment maintenance (meat grinder,cuber, meat saw, slicers, etc.).

• Minor plumbing repairs

• Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts

• Completes special tasks that include but are not limited to; painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, and generalmaintenance asassigned.

• This position requires the employee to be on call for after-hours emergencies.

• Comply withall safety procedures,maintaininggood housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods toeliminatethem.

• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs

• Documents work performance and materials procurement as directed.

RequiredQualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Candidate mustpossessand maintain a valid state driver’s license.

• Completion of an applicable technical training program is desirable, have a minimum of one (1) year of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.

• Must haveabilityto lift a minimum of 80 lbs., use ladders up to 30 ft, andpossessmechanical and electrical aptitude. 

• Must pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening process.

PreferredQualifications

• UST Class B Certification

• Ability tocomply withboth Jones Lang LaSalle and client-directed Policies & Procedures.

• Successfulcandidate must be a self-motivated individual who can work independently or in a team environment.

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

36.00 – 36.93 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
