Job Description

What you’ll bring to the team:

·Replace defective equipment parts then set specified clearances and adjust alignment of moving and stationary parts using hand and power tools

·Weld, repair and fabricate equipment or machinery as necessary

·Fabricate and dismantle parts, equipment, and machines using a cutting torch or other cutting equipment

·Ensures operation of machinery and equipment by executing preventive maintenance requirements, interpreting technical drawings or diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer’s instruction and engineering specifications

·Documents work performed in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) in order to build equipment history by creating, retrieving and closing work orders

·Red-line drawings when discrepancies are identified between a drawing and actual plant conditions

·Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area by complying with documentation, procedural, and applicable regulatory requirements (such as safety, environmental and housekeeping.)

·Attends and participates in required training

·Understands and follows all organizational policies, procedures and rules, ensuring that all laws are obeyed, and equal employment, safety and environmental protection are practiced

·Must be able to work more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week on any shift or travel as needed

What you’ll be doing:

·Experience using hand tools on mechanical equipment.

·Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems.

·Inquisitive mind and love learning how things work.

·Improve systems and processes to deliver a better and more consistent end-product to our customers.

·Must be excellent at working task lists to completion alone or as part of a team.

·We are also looking for candidates with strong backgrounds in electrical troubleshooting and repair with devices such as 3-phase motors, relays, PLC’s, and VFD’s. We will provide job-specific training in the field.

·Demonstrating leadership skills in the field

·Lead with new car wash installations and site launches

·Complete work orders, weekly timesheets, and repair logs

·Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment

·Perform routine preventative maintenance

·Train staff in the operation, preventative maintenance, and repair of car wash equipment. Lead in developing and improving maintenance program.
