In ATEXIS we are looking for industrial maintenance & IT profiles (systems), electronics close to Brussel Airport. (Zaventem)

Your key responsibilities as “Flight Simulator Maintainer”, will be:

  • Performing mechanical and electronic tasks related to preventive and corrective maintenance of the simulator, including periodic checks on QTGs.
  • Maintaining the Simulator Maintainer record and databases related to corrective and scheduled maintenance.
  • Repairing equipment in the Simulator workshop if needed.
  • Managing and organizing stock of the consumables, spare parts or tools for the workshop (informing the need, dispatching and storing of material, maintaining the required documentation).
  • Implementing requested Simulator modifications.
  • Daily reporting of the tasks within the scope and possible incidences in the operation and maintenance of the simulators.
  • Starting and shutting down the Simulator daily.
  • Dealing with incidents that may arise during the operation.
  • Making modifications in the planning of sessions, if needed.

In addition, you’ll also have to take part of the facility maintenance of the four-equipment defined as critical:

  • Power center transformer;
  • UPS Power Supply (DRUPS);
  • Heating and cooling system o Fire Fighting System (all components and equipment)

Qualifications

🎓 To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Ideally two years of experience in similar role, maintenance technician or systems and network administrator.
  • Fluent English or Dutch. An additional language, as French and/or Spanish, will be a plus.
  • MS Office, specific customer software tools.
  • Ideally two years of experience as Flight simulator maintainer, maintenance technician or systems and network administrator.
