Job Responsibilities:

· Follows all safety rules and regulations and other standards of operation and conduct.

· Support the departments within the plant as your customer.

· Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment, tools, and machines.

· Checks for preventative maintenance and other work orders each working day to complete each assignment on time.

· Maintains accurate records of repair and maintenance within the CMMS system.

· Develop and implement ideas for continuous improvement.

· Actively participate in problem solving sessions.

· Installation of new equipment when directed.

· Work and communicate effectively with all functional areas to provide necessary support to safely produce quality products and services.

· Maintains maintenance shop, inventory, tools and equipment in an orderly manner.

· Performs all position responsibilities in a safe manner and in accordance with all prescribed time schedules.

· Supports total quality management objectives in a team environment.

· Other duties as assigned by your manager.

Qualifications required:

· Strong computer skills working with Microsoft software.

· Good math skills.

· Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance troubleshooting and repair.

· Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams

· Self-motivated, team-oriented and good organizational skills

· Effective oral and written communication skills

· Good welding and fabrication skills

Requirements:

· Minimum 2-years’ experience in a general maintenance related field or technical degree/certificate.

· Strong work ethic within a team environment.

· Good decision making and problem-solving skills.

· Basic machine/tooling knowledge.

· Basic fabrication skills (welding, drilling, cutting, painting, etc.).

· Basic electrical skills (480 3-phase, 110 AC, low voltage DC).

· Knowledge of and experience with PLC Ladder Logic.

· Microsoft Office working knowledge

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

· Ability to work with little or no supervision and able to plan, organize and set priorities.

· Able to demonstrate effective written and verbal communications skills.

· Ability to prioritize duties and meet deadlines.

· Ability to perform assigned duties and responsibilities accurately and efficiently.

· Must have excellent attendance record

· Must be willing to cross-train within the department
