  • Perform equipment alignments, lubrication, fabrication, installation, and modification work as assigned.
  • Support plant utility and facility systems, which may include boilers, chillers, compressed air, water treatment, wastewater, and building systems.
  • Respond to production calls, communicate clearly with operators and supervisors, and prioritize work based on safety, quality, and production impact.
  • Assist production personnel with equipment setup, adjustment, and proper equipment operation when needed.
  • Document troubleshooting findings, repairs, labor, parts usage, and follow-up work in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Identify recurring failures and recommend corrective actions or equipment improvements.
  • Follow all safety, food-safety, quality, environmental, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and lockout/tagout requirements.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work areas and return equipment to production in a safe and sanitary condition.
  • Safely operate forklifts, high-reach equipment, aerial lifts, and other powered equipment after completing required training.
  • Work cooperatively with technicians, production personnel, contractors, and plant leadership.

  • Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
  • Ability to achieve a passing score at the Maintenance Technician I level of the company’s technical assessment.
  • Ability to safely lift, climb, bend, kneel, work at heights, and perform maintenance work in an active industrial environment.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound troubleshooting decisions, and communicate effectively during equipment breakdowns.
  • Ability to work the assigned shift and provide overtime, weekend, holiday, or emergency coverage as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree, technical degree, apprenticeship, or recognized industrial-maintenance certification.

What Success Looks Like
