The Maintenance Technician is responsible to effectively perform all the required duties of the Maintenance Mechanic Department position in an accurate, thorough and safe management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Troubleshoot, repair and replace electrical systems to the component level.
  • Understand and repair industrial electrical systems.
  • Install, maintain and repairs equipment required to meet production needs.
  • Install services and repairs electric motors, heaters, coolers, refrigerators, and other related equipment using various hand and power tools.
  • Move and replace machinery and auxiliary equipment.
  • Fabricate and assemble test parts as needed.
  • Replace fuses, light bulbs and other electrical equipment following electrical specifications.
  • Disassemble and reassemble slicing and packaging equipment.
  • Ability and willingness to assist in training.
  • Resolve problems while providing innovative solutions.
  • Ability to safely and effectively work on plant facilities of various forms.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports related to the work regarding equipment, supplies and materials.
  • Prepare written reports on projects and equipment conditions.
