About Large Power Systems Division (LPSD):
We design and manufacture the most comprehensive lineup of large diesel and natural gas engines in the industry, as well as engine components and powertrains.
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Hodges, SC facility. The Maintenance Technician willbe responsible forperforming highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, andmaintainproduction and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes. This role requires a proactive individual who cancompletepreventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines, etc
What you will do (includesbut not limited to):
Carry out preventive maintenance:
Analyzing and effecting improvements on facilities because of observations made during preventive maintenance.
Participating in regularly scheduled maintenance stops.
Carry out corrective maintenance:
analyzethe malfunction and propose, then put into effect, the best solution.When a repair is done, the incumbent should inform the supervisor and/or production about availability of the equipment and immediately give the repair done.
The incumbent recordsimmediatelythe incidentencounteredin the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Help maintenance agents and exterior companies as necessary, carrying out an intervention on-site, in agreement with supervisor.
Be able to find technical information and contact external suppliers directly.
Participate insmoothfunctioning of the spare parts storeroom.
Requirements:
Experience working in a maintenance, mechanical, or electrical position (preferably in a heavy industrial environment)
Manufacturing Safety: Knowledge and application of manufacturing safety; ability toidentifywork-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers,environmentand site
Top Candidates will also have:
Associates degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or relevant program
Preventative maintenance and repairs on various manufacturing and facilities equipment (pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, conveyor, HVAC systems, fire systems, etc.)
Knowledge of Electrical (110-480VAC and 0-36VDC), PLC's, Controls, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and gas systems considered a plus
Experience working in a foundry (Hodges is a cast iron foundry) is preferred
Previousexperience using Microsoft Office, ACAD, E-drawing, QAD, andLluminis preferred
Usage onmanual, electrical, and pneumatic tools for repairs and diagnostics.
Additional Information:
2nd shift hours are Monday-Friday 2PM-10:30PM.
This position is eligible for $0.75 hourly night shift premium.
This is an on-site position in Hodges, SC.

Pay Range:
$28.12 - $35.74
