Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Department: Maintenance

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: New Braunfels, Texas

Reporting To: Maintenance Manager

Compensation: $29.00 / hour

We are hiring for our 2nd Shift Teams!

Starting wage for this role is $29.00 per hour plus $2.50 shift differential ($31.50).

2nd Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 3pm - 11:30pm

We are seeking an AMAZING Maintenance Technician!


The Maintenance Technician isresponsible keeping our Operations equipment is exceptional working order! From preventative maintenance to trouble shooting and repair, our equipment needs your help!

Key Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide planned, scheduled, unscheduled, preventive, and even sometimes reactive repairs as required to maximize up time and reliability of plant equipment
• Utilize our CMMS program to enter notes on work orders and ensure communication between team members
• Ensure good housekeeping by clearing work area in preparation for assigned repairs and clean up the area after repairs are completed
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Other duties as assigned

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Experience:

• 4+ years of relevant experience; preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Prefer previous hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience
• Proficiency in disassembly, cleaning and reassembly of machines with special emphasis on bearing care techniques desired
