Maintenance Tech - Facilities ServicesThe Maintenance Technician performs skilled maintenance, repair, installation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on commercial, industrial, and healthcare facility systems.
Education and Experience Required:
High School Diploma or GED and one (1) year maintenance or construction work experience, or completion of HVAC/Refrigeration, Plumbing, or Electrical vocational/technical program above high school level
Certifications, Licenses, or Registration required:
Valid Driver's License required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Vocational or technical certification.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of commercial and industrial building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and utility systems. Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance principles. Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and respond effectively during emergency situations. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to learn new systems, technologies, and maintenance disciplines.
