Building Maintenance – Painter Technician

📍 Livingston, TN

What You'll Do

• Perform painting and surface preparation to maintain buildings, equipment, and facility appearance
• Complete preventative and responsive building maintenance tasks
• Perform remodeling as needed
• Work from ladders and lifts when needed
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition
• Manage maintenance-related inventory and materials
• Assist with training new employees and team members
• Respond to maintenance needs in a timely manner to support plant operations
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality standards

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in commercial, industrial, or facility painting preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver's license
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email
• Ability to read work instructions and perform basic math calculations
• Willingness to work overtime when needed

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift up to 35 lbs.; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work from elevated platforms
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
