Join our Team! Leland Management is seeking a Maintenance Tech for one of our communities in the Summerfield, FL area. Performs routine and preventive maintenance services for community facilities and common areas, supporting both indoor and outdoor operations across the property. This role completes inspections, minor repairs, and general upkeep to help ensure facilities remain clean, safe, functional, and presentable for residents, guests, and staff. The position alternates between work in a well-lighted, temperature-controlled environment and outdoor settings with variable climate and lighting, and must adapt to interruptions and shifting priorities while maintaining quality and timeliness.

Physical Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; some high school education accepted.
Experience: One to three years of general work experience required; facilities or maintenance experience preferred.
Positive Traits and Skill Set: Demonstrates initiative, reliability, and professionalism. Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to plan work, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Communicates clearly, follows instructions and safety procedures, and works effectively both independently and as part of a team. Maintains a customer-service mindset and exercises good judgment when escalating issues. Ability to assign tasks may be utilized when directed by the Maintenance Team Lead.
Work Environment & Schedule: Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments and may involve exposure to heat, humidity, rain, and varying lighting conditions. Schedule may include early mornings, evenings, holidays, or weekends based on operational requirements, events, and weather-related needs.
