Job Description

  • Troubleshoot and repair any equipment and systems specific to the hatchery.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
  • Complete and maintain maintenance/repair paperwork.
  • Responsible for cleanup and housekeeping duties as assigned or as needed.
  • General maintenance on the building where needed
  • Write up requisitions for tools, parts, equipment, etc. that are needed to complete a particular project.
  • Lead in all maintenance work on assigned shift.
  • Perform all maintenance levels in the hatchery.
  • All other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Prior industrial maintenance experience required.
  • Welding/fabrication skills desired.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools of all types.
  • Pneumatic experience.
  • Electrical experience (use of volt meters and amp meters).
