This position is responsible for ensuring maximum availability, utilization, and productivity of mining equipment by providing technical assistance/acquisition of parts and materials by coordinating various contractor activities

Key Accountabilities

• Provide technical and administrative support to maintenance and operations teams by assisting with equipment and personnel scheduling to maximize equipment availability and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and compliant records of equipment, components, and maintenance activities using available systems and resources to support timely and effective maintenance planning.
• Procure materials, parts, and equipment as required under normal and emergency conditions to support continuous operations.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to promote and maintain a safe working environment.
• Interface effectively with mine site operations, plant staff, other internal personnel, and external vendors/contractors to ensure consistent and logistics support.
• Participate in special projects and committee assignments as required to support site objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and record daily train movements in the FIS system to ensure accurate, timely logistics and rail activity tracking.
• Track coal unloading activities at the site, verify quantities, and coordinate with operations and plant personnel as needed.
• Coordinate with plant personnel to compile, verify, and submit accurate end‑of‑month coal reports.
• Maintain detailed coal manifest records and track bad‑order railcars, ensuring issues are properly documented, communicated, and resolved in a timely manner.

*Level of position will be determined by applicable skills and experience.

Education, Experience & Skill Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One (1) to three (3) years of clerical, administrative, or logistics‑related experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to maintain accurate records and generate reports.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments.
