Support production of Comfort Food products through the repair and maintenance of production machinery and facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Test and troubleshoot various types of meat processing equipment
  • Perform building maintenance
  • Follow preventative maintenance schedule for processing equipment
  • Follow lockout/tag out procedures when performing maintenance on all machinery
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Follow GMP/HAACP procedures
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned
  • Schematics
  • Testing equipment
  • Repair tools and equipment
  • Industrial equipment

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Previous manufacturing maintenance experience required
  • Knowledge of common maintenance practices and procedures
  • Electrical education/training
  • Experience performing maintenance on industrial machinery
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read schematics and blueprints
  • Ability to use meters and test equipment
  • Ability to work flexible hours
