Job Description

Location: Ploiesti

You will report to Maintenance manager

This is the role:

  • Plan and implement maintenance strategies that keep equipment, machinery, and infrastructure running reliably and safely, adapted to your organization’s specific operational needs
  • Lead and support maintenance teams, including technical staff and external contractors, by organizing work schedules, sharing knowledge through training sessions, and monitoring progress on maintenance activities
  • Identify and resolve technical issues by analyzing equipment problems, collaborating with engineers and specialists to develop effective solutions, and putting preventive measures in place to reduce future defects
  • Monitor equipment performance and create reports by developing key performance indicators (KPIs), tracking maintenance efficiency, and providing regular updates on equipment condition to senior management
  • Manage budgets and resources by estimating costs for materials, equipment, and personnel; identifying cost-saving opportunities; and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance and workplace safety by following legal regulations and safety standards, implementing local procedures, and conducting audits to confirm maintenance activities meet industry requirements
  • Communicate across departments by coordinating with other teams to align maintenance priorities, participating in cross-functional meetings, and keeping the maintenance team and leadership informed

What you bring:

  • Technical university education: electrics, electronics, electro mechanics
  • 3 years of experience in maintenance management or similar technical role
  • Practical knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, including the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • English language – fluent
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to priorities tasks and manage multiple activities
  • Ability to work effectively with others, listen to different perspectives, and support team members in developing their skills
  • Advanced proficiency with computer systems (Excel, Outlook, Word, or similar)
  • Experience managing maintenance budgets and vendor relationships
  • Knowledge of safety standards and compliance procedures in industrial settings
