Maintenance Team Leader
to work in
Thika, Kenya

Job Summary

To translate client requirements into precise,
fabrication-ready technical drawings and deliver accurate, competitive, and
profitable cost estimates for stainless steel products, including commercial
kitchen equipment, architectural railings, industrial tanks, and
agro-processing machinery—while minimizing material waste and ensuring smooth
workshop execution.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure availability of
appropriate engineering resources, production equipment and utilities.

·
Maintain & manage
engineering standards and procedures.

·
Develop & manage Total
Preventive Maintenance (TPM)

·
Monitor production costs & control
budget

·
Perform engineering analysis to ensure
lowest machine energy & spares consumption

·
Select correct design concepts &
technology for process improvement

·
Reporting department performance
accurately & on time

·
Bench marking
& implementing
manufacturing best practices

·
Implementing product quality, customer
& service excellence and change initiatives

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

·
Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or
equivalent.

·
At-least 3 year(s) relevant experience in
beverage industry, more specifically hands on experience in troubleshooting
blow moulders, filler, labeller and accompanying utility equipment

·
Proficiency in computer
applications (MS Office)

·
Basic understanding of data
analysis and reporting tools.

·
Excellent Verbal and written
communication skills

·
Honesty, Integrity and ethics.

·
Well-organized and responsible
with an aptitude in problem solving.

·
Ability to work under pressure
and meet tight deadlines.

·
A team player with a proactive
and problem-solving attitude.
