Job Description

Are you a CMMS expert who enjoys building systems, improving equipment reliability, and driving operational excellence? We're looking for a Maintenance Systems & Reliability Lead to take ownership of our maintenance systems strategy, optimize CMMS effectiveness, and lead reliability initiatives that improve equipment performance across our manufacturing operations. This is a highly hands-on role that combines technical expertise, data-driven decision making, and a strong shop-floor presence to support manufacturing success.

Job Status: Permanent Full-time

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Work Location: Onsite, Coquitlam and Lower Mainland facilities as required

Salary Range: $75,500 - $90,000 per annum

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development, optimization, and ongoing success of our CMMS, ensuring accurate asset data, effective work management, and maintenance system excellence.
  • Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs, maintenance planning, scheduling, and reliability initiatives that improve equipment uptime and performance.
  • Analyze equipment failures and reliability trends, lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Partner closely with Manufacturing, Packaging, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams to identify and eliminate chronic equipment losses.
  • Develop maintenance KPIs, reporting dashboards, MRO optimization strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence.

You have:

  • Post-secondary education in Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability, Operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and manufacturing experience.
  • 3 or more years of experience in maintenance systems, CMMS administration, reliability, continuous improvement, or maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong expertise in CMMS platforms, preventive and predictive maintenance programs, maintenance planning, scheduling, and asset reliability principles.
  • Proven experience leading reliability improvement projects, Root Cause Analysis investigations, and equipment performance optimization initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience supporting manufacturing and packaging operations, preferably within food, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
