Golden Pass LNG, a joint venture between ExxonMobil and QatarEnergy, has the vision to become the premier LNG export company in North America. In order to achieve those goals, we are bringing together a diverse team of experienced and talented professionals. Headquartered in Downtown Houston, the Golden Pass LNG organization expects to double in size over the next several years as we complete the project, commence natural gas trading activities, and ramp up towards full LNG production. Once full operations commence, Golden Pass LNG will become the second largest consumer of natural gas in the US and produce more than 200 cargos of LNG per annum.
Purpose
The Maintenance Systems Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing Master Data that is fundamental to business processes. The analyst shall ensure data quality and integrity, compliance, data governance and consistency of master data across business systems. The Analyst will be an interface between IT and maintenance team and work invariably to create and maintain MM & PM master data. Co-ordinate the master data management for analyzing and incorporating changes, new additions, updating, and deletions. This role will also be liaison with internal and external parties and will interface directly with Engineering, Maintenance, and Warehouse stake holders.
Essential Duties / Functions
1. Technical Leadership
- Function as an SME for implementation of Maintenance-related system solutions in SAP
- Review and implement changes in master data to optimize Maintenance execution efficiency
- Participate in change-management process to evaluate technical impact and implement updates in SAP
- Business Process Owner of Master Data ranging from new creation, change management, and deletion through established processes including mass change programs
- Participate in enhancing process for SAP improvements per business requirements including integrations and upgrades
- Interface between IT and Maintenance team coordinating the data flow as per business requirements
- Teach and instruct technicians and engineers on technology changes and new work processes
- Master Data Management in SAP PM/MM. Ensuring the quality of data as per standards
2. Reliability and Optimization
- Facilitate Equipment Performance evaluation such as conducting FMEA, Historic failures’ review, incorporating the updated maintenance tasks / procedures in SAP PM
- Migration of data into SAP from legacy / standalone systems such as Pi, PCMS etc
- Track changes in field and incorporate the changes in data, drawings and master data for standardization across GPLNG data structure
- Review breakdown & corrective maintenance data and address gaps in maintenance tasks and spare parts requirements ensuring equipment availability
- Setting-up spare parts data to facilitate inventory planning. Review stock levels and adjust MRP settings of materials
- Coordinate spare parts cycle count and update inventory levels based on materials’ demand
- Vendor engagement to confirm obsolete / superseded parts in Material Master and perform necessary changes in inventory and work order data
- New Master data creation such as FLOC, Equipment, Task list, Maintenance Plans, Material Master records and BOM
- Maintenance Budget Management and interface with various stake holders
3. Compliance and Documentation
- Assist in generating and maintaining accurate maintenance reports, logs, and records, including monthly reports, work history, and system audits
- Assist field team in maintaining documentation including inspection records
- Support internal and external audits with technical documentation and field evidence
- Preparing goals, objectives, and stewardship plans
- Ensure contracts comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Focal point for Exception, Exclusions, deferrals and FIMS
4. Mentorship & Training
- Train Maintenance personnel and engineers on system usage, reporting, and best practices
- Develop user guides, SOPs, and training material tailored to different roles
- Mentor team in data analysis and system navigation
5. Innovation and Technology
- Evaluate and recommend new tools
- Lead digital transformation initiatives
- Provide strategic recommendations on system performance, reliability, and efficiency
- Maintain active collaboration with IT and technology vendors
Minimum Requirements
Minimum education required of the position
- Bachelor’s or associate degree or relevant technical discipline or equivalent work experience
Minimum experience required of the position
- 8+ years in Master data management in Oil & Gas industries
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
- Experience in data mining, master data governance, standardization and data visualization
- Experience with schematics, blueprints, and P&IDs
- Experience in petroleum or chemical manufacturing facility or an LNG facility is preferred
- Proficiency in CMMS (SAP S4 Hana), data analytics tools, and MS office suite
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills

- Self-starter with ability to work strategically under little direction
- Ability to focus on meeting/exceeding performance parameters

Required Job Competencies for this position
- Experience in SAP PM & MM modules

Working Conditions
- Office environment. Site/Warehouse visits might be required based on need (5%)

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Field environment physical requirements such as lifting, climbing, walking, standing, kneeling, etc.
