As a Maintenance Support Tech, you'll play a vital role in supporting maintenance programs through records management, contract administration, financial tracking, and administrative coordination.
Your duties may include maintaining and auditing records, processing and tracking contracts, coordinating purchasing and invoice activities, monitoring project and contract documentation, preparing reports, managing databases, and providing administrative support to the Lubbock Traffic Operations Office. Performs administrative support-related work in a maintenance office or district headquarters. Work requires contact with high-level managers, executives, governmental officials and private entities. Employees at this level establish their own work plan and priorities to meet set objectives. Issues are rarely referred to the supervisor but are handled at the occurrence.

Coordinates and tracks the progress of projects and/or specialized programs and informs supervisor or other Department
officials of status.
Maintenance Support Tech IV:
High School Grad or Equivalent in general education.
Maintenance Support Tech II:
1 year of experience in administrative or clerical support, customer service, or related experience (Experience can be satisfied by full time or prorated part time equivalent). College education and/or relevant technical training may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis. Substitutions for Minimum Qualifications
Maintenance Support Tech III:
3 years of experience in administrative or clerical support, customer service, or related experience. (Experience can be satisfied by full time or prorated part time equivalent).
