The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that machinery and equipment operate safely, reliably, and efficiently. This role oversees all maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, while leading a team of technicians. The Maintenance Supervisor plays a key role in improving equipment reliability, optimizing maintenance strategies, and ensuring compliance with safety standards across industries such as manufacturing, energy, and healthcare.
This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine, scheduled, and preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, and repair or replace defective components to minimize downtime.
• Maintenance Planning: Develop, implement, and continuously improve maintenance strategies, procedures, and protocols to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and parts usage.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations during all maintenance operations.
• Leadership & Supervision: Lead, coach, and coordinate a team of maintenance technicians to ensure smooth operations and high performance.

Key skills and Qualifications:

• 
  Technical university degree.
• Minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience, preferably within the automotive industry.
• 
  Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering principles.
• 
  Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• 
  Effective communication and leadership skills for team coordination and reporting.
• 
  Strong commitment to safety standards and best practices.
• 
  Proficiency in English and French, both spoken and written.
