As a Maintenance Supervisor & Planner at Hitachi Energy, you will play a critical role in shaping safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations. This role blends hands-on leadership with forward-looking maintenance planning—giving you the opportunity to influence asset reliability, optimize maintenance strategies, and drive continuous improvement across production and facility equipment.

You will guide and develop skilled maintenance technicians while partnering closely with production, engineering, and EHS teams to maximize uptime and performance. From preventive and predictive maintenance planning to reliability initiatives and cost control, your work will directly support our commitment to safety, quality, sustainability, and operational excellence. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and inter-nal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities
  • Lead, coach, and support maintenance technicians across disciplines
  • Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure quality, timely execution
  • Partner with production to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
  • Use CMMS/EAM systems to manage work orders, backlog, and asset data
  • Support reliability programs including root cause analysis and KPI tracking
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean, TPM, or RCM principles
  • Manage spare parts, maintenance costs, and vendor coordination

Your background

  • Associate’s degree or technical certification in a relevant field; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years in a supervisory, lead, or maintenance planning role
  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Experience with CMMS tools such as SAP PM, eMaint, or similar
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements, LOTO, and industrial safety best practices
