The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for directing and assisting in installation, maintenance, and repair of machines, tools, and equipment. This role has responsibility in executing work priorities to team members based on production demands/needs, directs team members on scheduling repairs, maintenance and installation of machines, tools, and equipment, supports product development and improvements

What will make you successful?

Required Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

  • Strong technical understanding across a wide range of areas, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Ability to learn and utilize CMMS, Oracle, and other relevant software for this role.
  • Preferred knowledge of extrusion equipment and processes.
  • Minimum of 2 years in an industrial manufacturing setting, with supervisory experience preferred.

What you will be doing

  • Assists in the design, implementation, and modifications of preventative maintenance programs.
  • Resolves maintenance problems by conferring with management, engineering, and quality as needed.
  • Oversee, direct and schedule maintenance team and activities in adherence to the manufacturing schedule.
  • Ensure proper preventative maintenance is completed, training is executed to team members, and safety measures are adhered to.
  • Troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis, repair, rebuild and/or replace manufacturing and facilities equipment and systems.
  • Assist in developing the technical capabilities and skills of less experienced team members as needed and appropriate.
  • Update SOP’s and work instructions as needed.
