Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee our maintenance department and ensure the efficient operation of our mining facilities. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for leading a team of technicians and engineers in the maintenance and repair of all equipment and infrastructure on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the maintenance department, including technicians, engineers, and support staff.
• Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure the efficient operation of all equipment and infrastructure.
• Oversee the preventive maintenance schedule for all equipment, ensuring that maintenance tasks are completed on time and according to manufacturer specifications.
• Develop and implement procedures for the safe operation and maintenance of all equipment and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage the maintenance budget and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the mining industry.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of maintenance best practices and techniques.
• Familiarity with mining equipment and processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
