Job Title: Maintenance Director

Staring Pay: $20.00 plus experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday and on call for emergencies.

Benefits eligibility for some benefits dependent on full time employment status

Duties:

· Hire, supervise, and manage the performance of maintenance team members and ensure that all team members follow established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies

· Coordinates with contractors and venders making sure insurance and licenses are current

· Conducts regular inspections of all Life Safety Systems including fire extinguishers, sprinkler and alarm systems

· Maintains inventory control for all general supplies, parts and equipment

· Manage the department within budgetary guidelines tracking inventory usage and ordering supplies when necessary

· Understands and implements the role of the department's safety and disaster plan

· Completing work orders in TELS as they come up

· Upkeep on resident rooms, bathrooms as needed (repairs, updates, ect.)

· Yard care and maintenance

· Assisting with resident transport if drivers are not available

Qualifications:

· 2-year(s) experience in a supervisory capacity, in a maintenance/plant related position in a Healthcare Setting.

· Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems

· Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints

· Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations
