Connectalents, the leading recruitment & HRO company in MENA is currently hiring “ Maintenance Supervisor" in El Sherouk – Warehouse, Cairo, Egypt for a leading transportation company operating in KSA an"d Egypt, with a variety of services including transportation automobile service for businesses, that excels at getting goods to and from ports Job Role · Supervise and follow up on all maintenance activities for the heavy transport fleet. Oversee periodic, preventive, and emergency maintenance for trucks. Follow up on tire maintenance and ensure proper tire management. Ensure fleet safety and compliance with company standards. Coordinate with drivers and provide the necessary maintenance support and solutions during breakdowns and emergencies. Coordinate with the Operations team to minimize vehicle downtime. Monitor the availability of spare parts and tires and report shortages. Follow up on the proper handling and return of used spare parts to the warehouse. Monitor repair and inventory costs and ensure the maintenance plan is properly implemented. Train, guide, and supervise technicians to ensure maintenance activities are completed accurately and efficiently. Organize and manage daily workshop activities. Requirements What We’re Looking For: Higher education or technical qualification. 5+ years of experience in Heavy Transport Maintenance. Strong experience in Mechanical Maintenance. Experience in heavy truck and fleet maintenance. Strong knowledge of metalwork and welding. Previous experience supervising and managing a maintenance team. Experience with Mercedes-Benz Actros is highly preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and efficiently manage workshop activities. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
