The Maintenance Supervisor plays a critical role in the organization which ensures that customer needs are met from a product and compliance prospective. This position supervises the SAP Coordinators, so SAP knowledge is required (R11 preferred).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead safe, reliable 24/7 maintenance operations that support production, quality, compliance, and business objectives.

  • Supervise, coach, and develop SAP Coordinators through performance management, training, skill development, and succession planning.

  • Plan and allocate maintenance resources to meet operational priorities while managing schedules, coverage, overtime, and workforce flexibility.

  • Drive equipment reliability, asset performance, and continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.

  • Lead troubleshooting, investigations, change management, and corrective actions to resolve issues and improve processes.

  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Planning, and other stakeholders to coordinate maintenance activities and meet site objectives.

  • Establish and monitor performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and support achievement of departmental and site goals.

  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, quality, environmental, health, safety, and security requirements, including training, documentation, and procedural adherence.

  • Communicate priorities, expectations, and results effectively while fostering accountability, teamwork, and a positive work culture.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Technical proficiency in maintenance systems, Microsoft Office, SAP (or similar ERP systems), and industrial troubleshooting.

  • Significant industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience; supervisory experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, mentoring, and team development skills.

  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and conflict resolution abilities.

  • Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.

  • Experience driving continuous improvement, reliability, and operational excellence initiatives.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude, including the ability to interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and schematics

  • Ability to work effectively in a regulated manufacturing environment, respond to changing business needs, and remain calm under pressure.
