Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment, and in maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utility systems of the foundry by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees employees in the Maintenance and or Electrical Department(s). Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units on assigned shift. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One to two years of supervisory experience strongly preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. Certain areas or activities in the plant may fall under the silica exposure guidelines. Employees will be required to complete fit testing and remain clean shaven in the sealed area of the face piece.
