
Maintenance Supervisor - Assisted Living Community
Water's Edge at Lake Wales is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of our assisted living community. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities across the community, including repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety inspections
- Manage maintenance staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations
- Ensure all facilities, equipment, and systems are maintained in compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents, prioritizing urgent issues
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and work orders
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement maintenance schedules and budgets
- Oversee vendor relationships and procurement of maintenance supplies and services
- Ensure the community remains clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate maintenance equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards related to assisted living facilities
