What is your role?

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for maximizing the availability, reliability, and performance of manufacturing equipment and plant infrastructure. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic planning, ensuring preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities are executed efficiently while driving safety, productivity, and continuous improvement across the operation.

Major responsibilities and tasks of the position

  • Deep practical knowledge in industrial mechanics, electronics, and electricity
  • Proficiency in the use and management of maintenance software, ideally Maximo
  • Application of key tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
  • Use of methodologies such as the 5 Whys, Ishikawa Diagram, or FMEA to mitigate repetitive failures
  • Strict command of safety regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), working at heights, and confined spaces
  • CAPEX/OPEX management, optimization of critical spare parts stock, and advanced interpretation of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams
  • Basic/intermediate troubleshooting of PLCs and industrial networks
  • Basic understanding of the complete fabrication process (punching / bending / paint)
  • English skills – Excellent verbal and written skills communication, fluent English

What do you need to have?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance; experience in sheet metal manufacturing environments is a strong plus.
  • Proven experience leading maintenance technicians and technical personnel across multiple shifts.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial mechanics, electronics, electrical systems, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), preferably Maximo.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies such as TPM, 5S, Kaizen, FMEA, Ishikawa, and 5 Whys.
  • Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined spaces, and work-at-height requirements.
