The Maintenance Supervisor leads shift-level maintenance operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable execution of maintenance activities. This role is responsible for directing technicians, managing daily priorities, and ensuring consistency in maintenance practices, training, and communication across shifts.
What will your day look like?
- Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities across assigned shift
- Set priorities for corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance work
- Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians
- Ensure PM completion, schedule adherence, and work quality
- Partner with Operations to align maintenance priorities with production needs
- Monitor downtime and drive rapid response to equipment issues
- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and company standards
- Facilitate effective shift handoffs and communication across teams
- Reinforce training standards and ensure technicians are qualified and prepared
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Other duties as assigned by management

QualificationsWhat will you bring to the table?
- Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
- 5–10+ years of maintenance experience
- Demonstrated leadership capability through prior experience or technical leadership roles (e.g., Lead Maintenance Technician)
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing employees in a team environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, CMMS, and reliability practices
- Ability to lead teams, set priorities, and hold accountability for performance
- Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage shift-level operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stoop, reach, bend, stand, lift, pull, push, grasp, talk, hear, see, and lift to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Near vision sufficient to clearly see electronic displays/monitor, and distance vision sufficient to recognize people in parking lots, warehouse areas, and other large spaces.  Must be able to walk several hours each day, inside and outside of the building, up and down stairs, transferring from building to building.
