Job Description

We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

What you’ll do:

Primary Function:

Ensure plant operational continuity through a safe, efficient, and sustainable maintenance strategy that prevents failures, optimizes resources, and supports Eaton Electrical’s operational and financial objectives.

Essential Functions:

1 Coordinate effective communication within the maintenance team.
2 Organize and facilitate technical training for team members and stakeholders.
3 Provide subject-matter expertise on specialized equipment, including remote phone support when required.
4 Coordinate preventive maintenance activities with the Production team.
5 Collaborate with Manufacturing to align and execute improvement initiatives.
6 Ensure and reinforce the proper use and care of tools and equipment.
7 Ensure and add new components to the critical spare parts list.
8 Track, coordinate, and follow up on open maintenance actions and work orders.
9 Implement, promote, and sustain a safe working environment by fostering a strong accident-prevention culture, conducting investigations, ensuring proper equipment maintenance, and enforcing safety rules. Identify, assess, and manage risks within the assigned area.
10 Promote the company’s mission and vision by actively supporting ethics, values, and quality policies.
11 Motivate, coach, and develop employees to maintain high levels of engagement, productivity, and quality, effectively utilizing recognition and reward programs to reinforce desired behaviors and results.
12 Own, monitor, and report maintenance performance metrics, including MTBF, MTTR, Preventive Maintenance compliance (%PM), and Equipment Availability, ensuring data accuracy and action-oriented reviews.

Qualifications:

Basic qualifications:

  • Preferred education level: Bachelor’s Degree in Electro-mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics from an accredited institution required or certified technician with a strong Maintenance background history.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading teams, along with prior hands-on experience in maintenance operations for someone with bachelor degree or minumun of 5 years leading a maintenance department for the certified technician.

Technical knowledge:
A )Able to mantain professional conversations in English
B) Broad technical knowledge in the areas of maintenance and manufacturing processes, quality assurance, plant engineering.
C) Knowledge of hydraulics, electronics and electro-pneumatics
D) Strong leadership skills; must be capable of leading their organization on a continuous journey of sustained improvement.
E) Knowledge in maintaining high tech PLC/HMI equipment as well as manual machinery.
F) Knowledge of elements of machine design, operation and repair.
