Our award-winning client is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in coordinating maintenance work orders and optimizing team performance for plant process, equipment, and facility upkeep. Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of 5 Maintenance Techs and apprentices, overseeing work order completion, planned repairs/projects, and preventative maintenance. Manage scheduling, time, and attendance, and provide performance feedback for optimal job performance.

• Collaborate on and troubleshoot major maintenance projects with the Maintenance team, and plant engineers, and Continuous Improvement.

• Ensure swift and effective response to line breakdowns. Conduct failure analysis on work order challenges and implement preventive measures with teams to minimize future breakdowns.

• Regularly communicate with Supervisors across shifts and departments to coordinate maintenance activities with Production schedules, providing breakdown and equipment repair status reports.

Supervisory Responsibility:

• This position oversees 5-6 maintenance team members at the food manufacturing facility.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred; equivalent technical diploma in Industrial Mechanics with 3 years of strong leadership within a Food manufacturing facility will be considered.

• Strong interpersonal skills, including professional oral and written communication, a team-focused approach, and the ability to make decisions in stressful situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in food manufacturing facilities.

• Regulatory compliance knowledge, including USDA regulations, HACCP, GMP, and Food Safety (SQF).

• Strong knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
