We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee our maintenance department and ensure the efficient operation of our mining facilities. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for leading a team of technicians and engineers in the maintenance and repair of all equipment and infrastructure on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the maintenance department, including technicians, engineers, and support staff.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure the efficient operation of all equipment and infrastructure.
- Oversee the preventive maintenance schedule for all equipment, ensuring that maintenance tasks are completed on time and according to manufacturer specifications.
- Develop and implement procedures for the safe operation and maintenance of all equipment and infrastructure.
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize downtime.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage the maintenance budget and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the mining industry.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of maintenance best practices and techniques.
- Familiarity with mining equipment and processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
