Maintenance Supervisor

A great manufacturer is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor or Manager with experience in manufacturing that utilizes equipment and electronics such as: Motors, Drives, air compressors, chillers, grinders, water pumps, PLC/HMI controls, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulics experience.

We are looking for someone who loves to be hands-on and who is willing to work side by side with their team when needed for training and during emergency situations. This is just a really good company to work for.

Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities

· Schedule Preventative Maintenance.

· Mentor and supervise the maintenance techs in their training and daily activities

· Assist in the troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment that isn’t working properly (primarily when the technicians are having problems).

· Work with outside contractors for new equipment installation

· Ensure spare parts and preventative maintenance items are on hand and managed.

· Train maintenance staff as well as supervisors or operators on maintenance items.

· Support and enforce facility safety systems.

Required skills and qualifications for the Maintenance Supervisor / Manager:

· 5 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience.

· 3 years of supervision experience.

· Plastics experience is Great, but we will consider any industry background if you have a strong knowledge of maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment that have AC electric motors, DC drives, air compressors, chillers, grinders, water pumps, PLC/HMI controls, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulics experience.

· Direct involvement with Preventative Maintenance programs, Predictive Maintenance Programs, Computerized Maintenance Systems (CMMS).

· Direct involvement with safety systems as it relates to maintenance (supervision), such as LOTO.
