We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent with a strong background in power generation or heavy industrial environments.
This is site based role at Teesside.

The Role
You will be capable of leading maintenance delivery activities across a large biomass power generation facility, combining technical knowledge of boiler and steam plant systems with strong planning, supervisory and stakeholder management skills.
The role requires an individual who can safely coordinate maintenance activities, manage contractors and site resources, interface effectively with the client, and drive high standards of safety, quality and operational performance.

Expected:
- NVQ Level 3 in related discipline plus appropriate experience
- Significant experience within power generation, biomass, energy-from-waste, process manufacturing or heavy industrial environments
- Demonstrable experience working on steam-raising plant, industrial boilers and associated auxiliary systems
- Proven track record supervising maintenance execution teams within a live operating plant environment
- Experience managing contractors and subcontractors delivering maintenance and repair activities
- Experience working for an engineering, maintenance or industrial services contractor
- Strong background in maintenance planning, work coordination and resource management
- Experience managing competing priorities whilst maintaining safety and operational performance
- Strong knowledge of permit-to-work systems, isolation standards and safe systems of work
- Experience interfacing directly with clients and operational stakeholders
