Salary £40,000 to £45,000 per annum plus health cash plan and a matching pension contribution

What you’ll do

·Review and redesign maintenance specifications to make them clear, consistent, and future focused.

·Act as the go‑to expert for colleagues across development, delivery, and planned maintenance teams.

·Build and manage robust specifications using NBS Chorus for group‑wide use.

·Embed maintenance thinking into new projects, products, and delivery models.

·Champion standardisation that improves quality, compliance, and customer experience.

You have

·A degree in construction or built environment, or equivalent practical experience.

·Strong knowledge of repairs, maintenance, and building regulations.

·Experience working with specifications, contracts, and technical information.

·Confidence working collaboratively and constructively challenging ideas.

· Clear communication skills for explaining complex requirements to different audiences.

·We typically work on a hybrid basis with time in our Newcastle office and from home.
