Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities, resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources. Each day, you will oversee execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. You will also showcase your expertise by managing and updating technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the Measurement & Analytics division (Force Measurement), part of the Process Automation business area, in Sweden, at our site in Västerås. Main stakeholders are the Production, R&D, Quality, EHS, and Supply Chain teams, as well as external maintenance service providers.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Defining maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities, and consulting on ways to improve reliability, maintainability, and safety of equipment and/or facilities.

  • Solving major technical, equipment, or facilities problems to achieve higher performance of the production lines.

  • Proposing improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency.

  • Responding to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruption in the production process.


Qualifications for the role

  • You have advanced skills in preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies (TPM, RCM, root-cause analysis) and lean tools such as SMED, within precision sensor and electronics manufacturing.

  • You have 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance of production and test equipment, including work in a senior or specialist maintenance capacity.

  • You possess an enhanced knowledge of maintenance management systems (CMMS) — preferably MaintMaster — and the MS Office suite.

  • You are passionate about proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement, and you bring strong communication skills and the willingness to share technical expertise with the team.

  • You have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical education combined with extensive relevant work experience.

  • You are at ease communicating in Swedish and English.

  • You hold a valid right to work in Sweden; relevant safety certifications (e.g. heta arbeten, truckkort) are considered a merit.
