Salary: $22.60 to $24.21 (3 step range)
Performs general maintenance and repairs for facility systems, equipment, grounds and building. Key activities include, but not limited to:
Carpentry repairs, painting, drywalling
Repairs and maintains patient equipment (e.g., mobility devices, beds and wheelchairs)
Installs, repairs and maintains mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, fans, motors, kitchen/laundry/housekeeping equipment).
Performs repairs and maintenance on air-conditioning equipment (e.g., filters, belts, coils).
Performs plumbing and electrical repairs up to code
Groundskeeping including mowing, trimming, pruning, weeding and planting.
Removes snow and ice
Receives, responds to work orders and records maintenance logs
Repairs and maintains ventilation units and boilers/accessory equipment
Human Resources Exemption: None
Experience:
12 months previous experience in a maintenance environment (commercial or industrial) is preferred
