The Opportunity

At Downer Energy & Utilities, we are seeking a proactive and customer focused Maintenance & Services Planner to join our Gas Networks team.

This role offers a unique blend of field and office-based responsibilities, with a strong focus on planning, scheduling, coordinating and verifying maintenance, asset, metering and customer service activities. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of network services while building strong relationships with customers, contractors and key stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated experience planning, coordinating and delivering maintenance, utilities, infrastructure or field services activities
• Experience undertaking site inspections, work scoping and customer facing field coordination
• Knowledge of gas distribution networks, metering or utility infrastructure will be highly regarded
• Experience coordinating contractors, permits, scheduling and work management activities
• Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Experience using Microsoft 365 and work management or billing systems
• The ability to interpret work orders, drawings, asset records and construction documentation
