LSU Health New Orleans Division of Facility Services is seeking highly skilled applicants for the position of Maintenance Repairer 2 (Preventative Maintenance). This is semi-skilled work mainly performing preventative maintenance tasks across all on maintenance trades. Persons applying must possess a valid Louisiana Driver’s license.

Two years of experience or training in the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment, or park operations and grounds maintenance; OR
Completion of a two-year vocational technical program in general building construction, construction technology, or engineering; OR
Twelve semester hours in construction management, construction technology, or engineering, or any combination of these courses.

Compensation: The starting rate of pay is $19.67 per hour and the 1st Quartile rate of pay is $23.61 with an additional $1 Longevity Pay for hours worked only. Rate of pay may be adjusted dependent upon applicants’ experience and qualifications.

Hours of Operation: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday
