Job Description

As a Maintenance Processes & Data Analyst within DEME's Fleet Center of Excellence, you help translate operational insights into tangible improvements across our global fleet of vessels. By combining data analytics, process improvement and digital enablement, you identify opportunities to improve the performance of our fleet, simplify ways of working and strengthen data driven decision-making.

You work at the intersection of operations, business processes and technology, collaborating with vessel teams, fleet departments and digital experts. Your role is to transform learnings, data and stakeholder needs into sustainable improvements in our business processes, systems, dashboards, reports and governance.

If you enjoy solving complex operational challenges, working with data, facilitating improvement initiatives and connecting people across disciplines, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a visible impact across DEME's fleet.

This is not a role related to reliability studies, daily operations of the vessels or detailed engineering work. This role is related to maintenance data and maintenance processes of our vessels.

Your Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret operational data and requests to uncover trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Turn data into actionable insights by leveraging queries, SQL, Power BI, excel and other analytical tools.
  • Translate insights and learnings into solutions for processes, organizational structures, and digital applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across technical, operational, and IT teams to design and implement changes.
  • Document business requirements and ensure alignment with system capabilities and organizational goals.
  • Support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Monitor and evaluate implemented improvements, refining approaches based on feedback and performance metrics.

Your Profile

  • A Master's degree in Engineering, Business Engineering, Industrial Sciences, Data Analytics or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in a maritime, technical or relevant environment.
  • Experience in continuous improvement, business analysis, process excellence, operations, asset management or a related environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and affinity with data analytics, reporting and performance management (Power BI, SQL, Excel or similar tools).
  • Ability to translate operational challenges into process, system and organizational improvements.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of connecting operations, business and IT teams.
  • Familiarity with asset management processes, maintenance systems and operational workflows is considered an asset. Experience with asset management systems (e.g. Maximo, CMMS) is a plus.
  • Curious, structured and improvement-driven mindset

Our Offer

  • An extensive mobility program for a healthy work-life balance.
  • A permanent training track which allows you to develop yourself personally and professionally.
  • A stimulating, innovative workplace with numerous growth opportunities.
  • A people-oriented environment with an interactive health program and a focus on employee wellbeing.
