The Maintenance Porter performs a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the parking facility while delivering a service that exceeds customer and clients' expectations. Depending on the needs of the location, the Maintenance Porter is responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of the parking facility. The Maintenance Porter works closely with fellow team members, Operations Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure that standards are always met.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday

7am - 11am

20 hours / week

Principal Responsibilities

Facility Maintenance:

• House-keeping duties (sweeping/changing trashcans/mopping/wiping down windows, vacuuming)

• Schedule and coordinate repairs and maintenance projects.

• Conduct regular inspections and recommend necessary repairs.

Customer Service:

• Assist customers as needed.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed on-site in the elements either outdoors or inside the parking deck for extended periods, including up to the entire duration of the shift.

• Team members are subject to environmental conditions including extreme heat, rain, and cold weather.

• Specific uniforms may be provided for the weather, but not necessarily for temperature changes.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• General maintenance and or housekeeping experience preferred
