Ensure the optimal learning and teaching environment for our students, faculty, and staff. by optimizing Collin College’s preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Preserve college assets, maximize reliability, reduce unscheduled disruptions and failures, and maximize the efficiency of both equipment and staffing.

Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects. Positions in this class typically include talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, climbing and balancing, plus pushing, pulling and lifting. Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, odors, dusts, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting and intense noises, gases and workspace restrictions. In addition, incumbents may be subjected to vibrations, chemicals and oils. Frequent exposure to unpleasant environmental conditions and/or hazards. Majority of work performed outside or with exposure to risk. Frequent physical effort required.
Requirements
Associate degree in HVAC, Engineering, Electrical, Process Management, Business Management, Logistics discipline, or other closely related field from an accredited institution and a minimum of 3 years of experience in one or more of the trades or construction.
Without an Associate degree, seven (7) years experience with a Master’s trade license, or (10) ten years experience with a journeyman’s license.
