We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to join our Energy team in Houston. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are eager to develop their skills in maintenance planning, asset management, and energy operations.
In this role, you will support the development and execution of maintenance plans that help improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize lifecycle performance. You will work closely with experienced team members and receive training on systems and processes, including IBM Maximo (CMMS/EAM).

What you will do
As a Maintenance Planner, you will:
Support the development and maintenance of long-term and annual maintenance plans
Assist in creating and updating maintenance schedules and tracking completed or postponed activities
Help coordinate resources, spare parts, tools, and service teams to ensure readiness for maintenance activities
Work with IBM Maximo and other tools to support planning, scheduling, and data tracking (training provided)
Contribute to maintenance reporting and basic analysis (e.g., plan vs. execution, forecasts)
Review technical documentation and support the integration of recommendations into maintenance plans
Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure clear communication and effective execution
What you bring (required)
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
0–2 years of experience (internships, co-ops, or relevant academic projects are welcome)
Strong analytical and organizational skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Good communication skills and willingness to learn in a team environment
Nice to have (but not required)
Exposure to maintenance planning, asset management, or industrial operations (internship or coursework)
Familiarity with CMMS/EAM tools such as IBM Maximo
Basic understanding of maintenance concepts (preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance)
Experience in power generation or industrial environments
Bilingual English/Spanish
