Job Description

The Maintenance Planner plays a critical part in coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance works that keep our terminal operations running safely and efficiently.

As Maintenance Planner, you will ensure plant equipment software stays up-to-date and that planned maintenance is scheduled in line with the company's maintenance regime and industry standards. You will also serve as the lead trainer and focal point for all issues related to our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Job Responsibilities:

1) HSSE, Standards, Procedures and Practices

  • Ensure compliance with all HSSE rules and regulations

  • Ensure all contractors and service providers meet CMDB requirements

  • Verify contractors hold valid documentation and certification (e.g. MSRA and SIC) to carry out work safely

2) Maintenance Planning and Scheduling

  • Review the following year's planned maintenance activities based on the current year and recommend improvements

  • Coordinate and plan routine maintenance work activities and responsible to upkeep the TPM program with the relevant contractor and vendors

  • Liaise with procurement and vendors on planned maintenance work and cost optimisation

  • Act as the focal point for new maintenance systems and improvement initiatives, locally and globally

3) General Administrative Tasks

  • Administer the CMMS, including updating terminal asset records and managing the asset library, ensuring the system reflects the latest ABS, FMECA, SCEs and ECEs

  • Serve as the focal point for CMMS , resolving issues in close collaboration with vendors and internal users

  • Fulfil planned-maintenance-related reporting and license renewals to government agencies per regulatory requirements

  • Assist in sourcing spares and verifying orders, including SAP-related transactions

  • Keep maintenance procedures and related documents up-to-date

  • Prepare monthly reports on CMMS and field activities

  • Maintain safe custody of all maintenance records, including delivery orders, service reports, technical reports, completed work orders, and calibration reports

4) Organisational Development

  • Identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement in existing systems and terminal facilities (e.g. CMMS) to improve efficiency, reduce equipment breakdown, and lower maintenance costs

Job Profile:

  • 5 years of work experience as Maintenance Planner Petrochemical, Refineries, Process Plant, Oil & Gas, or Energy industries

  • Have a least a Diploma in Engineering or Petroleum/Chemical Process (or related field)

  • Knowledge of maintenance philosophy and CMMS

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently

  • This position is based in Jurong Island

  • Official Working hours: Mon - Fri, 0830 - 1700 hours
