MAINTENANCE PLANNER

Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our Maintenance team. This is an administrative role focused on coordinating preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities across various buildings, as well as supporting the Maintenance Manager with project planning and transportation services. The main objective is to ensure efficient scheduling and execution of maintenance programs, guaranteeing quality standards and timely support for operational needs.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs for facilities, equipment, and assets, ensuring timely execution through the maintenance management system.
  • Analyze, prioritize, and manage maintenance work requests, ensuring effective resource allocation and timely resolution of operational needs.
  • Source and identify required spare parts and technical solutions to maintain asset reliability and operational continuity.
  • Maintain and control technical documentation, including equipment manuals, technical drawings, maintenance records, and work orders to ensure accurate asset management and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate the transportation and delivery of materials, spare parts, equipment, and personnel, ensuring timely and reliable service.
  • Supervise employee transportation services, monitor route performance, review transportation reports, and ensure compliance with established schedules and operational requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering, maintenance, and operational projects to enhance process efficiency and equipment reliability.
  • Monitor maintenance performance indicators (KPIs), prepare analytical reports, and communicate results to production teams, managers, and senior leadership through periodic presentations and review meetings.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL BE REQUIRED?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical, Electronic or Industrial Engineering or other related areas.
  • Intermediate English proficiency.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD software.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in similar maintenance planning roles.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and collaborate with teams.
