Reporting to theCritical Services Manager, theMaintenance Planneris responsibleforoverseeingallmaintenanceaspects of data centre operations to achieve 100% uptime and compliance with our customers
This role involves working closely with a team of engineers, technicians, and third-party vendors to plan and manage the annual Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule.
Additionally, the Maintenance Planner must adjust plans as necessary to support unplanned emergency maintenance andbreak fixactivities, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency in data centreoperations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance and Upgrades:
Plan andcoordinateasset management services including asset management delivery planning,preventative and corrective maintenance activitiesplanning,condition monitoringand lifecycle planning
Ensureallsystems are serviced according to manufacturer and company standards.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and upgrade projects, ensuring minimal impact on operations.Follow up onChange Management approval.
Prepare and update the52 weekmaintenance plan
Ensure data completeness in CMMS system, including maintenance reports, faults, asset information, spare parts etc.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure allmaintenance activitiescomply withrelevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Maintain up-to-date documentation and records to support compliance audits and certifications.
SystemSupport:
Utilise the CMMSsystem including records management and planning.
Collaborate with other engineering and operations teams to ensure integrated and efficient system performance.
Strategic Initiatives:
Support the Critical Services Manager inreporting requirements.
Participate in budget planning and cost management activities to ensure operational efficiency and financial performance.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, businessadministrationor a related field.
Minimum of3-5years of experience inmaintenance planning, ideally in a critical environment or data centre.
Strongexperience in the use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
Proven experience in managing technical teams and 24/7 operations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex challenges.
High levelof attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and analysis.
Strong communicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively withmultiplestakeholders.
Flexibility to manage changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
